Volunteering opportunities with The Super Slow Way across our Burnley based projects and events - More specific details can be found on our website - The Exbury Egg Custodian Role: We have a unique opportunity for someone to look after The Exbury Egg, which is currently located at Finsley Gate Wharf in Burnley. The role would involve opening up/closing The Egg, welcoming visitors and gathering monitoring postcards. We are ideally looking for people who are confident working alone and interacting with the public. During this time, we encourage volunteers to use the space themselves to work on any of their own creative /environmental practice. There is no electricity in The Egg but there is a wood burning stove and access to brewing up facilities. There is also at cafe and toilets on site. The times and duration of volunteering is flexible and can be adapted to suit your other commitments. The Wharf is open from 11am everyday until 7pm (closed Tuesdays) and we would like The Egg to be open for between 2 to 4 hours.
